Project Description

Geotechnical database system for one of the world's largest open cut coal mines, located in East Kalimantan, Indonesia.

Scope of project:

  • Design of a gINT database to comply with the KPC logging system, used for geotechnical and assay work
  • Imported existing data from legacy application, DatCol (Datgel DatCol Tool)
  • Geotechnical borehole logs
  • LAS data import and well logs (Datgel LAS Tool)
  • Core and test pit photo presentation in gINT (Datgel Photo Tool)
  • Cross sections
  • Lab results database
  • Export of gINT geology data to existing assay database
